Hello! My name is Samantha and I have been working with young children for about 5 years now. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wyoming in Elementary Education and Disability Studies. I’ve also completed the academic phase of the Early Childhood Course at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder, CO, working towards Montessori certification in 2020. I am deeply passionate about helping children reach their greatest potential in education, and I believe the Montessori educational approach uniquely helps to develop the whole child–intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. As a Montessori educator, I hope to foster personal growth in these areas as well as perseverance and a deep desire to learn in each child. It’s an honor to be serving in the Laramie Montessori community!
Hello! My name is Danielle, and this is my third year teaching at MCHL. I studied music education at Furman University in South Carolina before my love of the Mountain West brought me to Laramie two years ago. Working with children and individuals with disabilities has turned me into a fierce advocate for making education available to ALL people. My hobbies include knitting, photography, and hiking with my husband and two dogs. When I’m not at MCHL, I do vocational rehabilitation and job skill coaching with high school students.
Hello all! I am so excited to be working with all of you and your children here at the Montessori Children’s House. I recently graduated from the University of Wyoming this past summer with a bachelor’s in Family and Consumer Science. I have decided to take a year off from school before pursuing my masters in Family Studies. My passion is teaching, and one day I hope to teach child and adolescent development at a University level. I am excited to be able to spend this year learning from and teaching your children here at our school!
